About Me

I am a mother who is raising two amazing human beings.

Two of the very best things to happen in my life.

I have had an amazing and successful 15-year+ career in Insurance Operations and Strategy.

Even though I say it’s been amazing and successful, it has not always been easy.

Like so many others, there was much of my career that kept me away from my family with long hours of managing a business unit and international travel.

Somehow, I had always found a way to be everywhere at once and I knew I needed a change. I've never been ready to give up my career since strategy and operations are one of my professional passions. I am all about forward thinking and I love to problem solve.

With lots of hard work and searching, I did find the perfect opportunity in my field that allows me to be home most days with my children and spend time building Ro + Co.

I have always had a passion for design and an entrepreneurial mindset with a dream to build my own brand, so I am doing just that.

Some people will tell you to start off small but that’s not who I am. I’ll give you everything I have from the get go and Ro + Co is a collection of the things I love, my family and everybody, and everything important to me in my life.

About RO + CO

Ro + Co started when we purchased a little summer house in Delavan, WI just this past year.

It’s a house down the street from my dad’s lake house that he bought when he was just 18 years old.

I always knew this little house down the street would be ours, I didn’t know how but I just knew it. I’ve spent my summers there since a baby and have been fortunate enough to do the same with my children.

We now have our own space to spend our summers, spend more time on the lake and create a ton of new memories with our children, family, and friends. Thing is, this little house was is move-in ready. It needs a lot of love. It is currently undergoing a full renovation and we plan to put on an addition almost the same size as the house when we purchased it.

During the process, I've thought about a lot of ways how I could share our renovation journey and our life at the lake.

I’ve spent countless hours creating the perfect space in our year-round home and wanted to do the same thing there.

I love the process of visual change, the way your surrounding aesthetics or the aesthetics of a gift can make you feel and so I decided I wanted to share that with others through the creation of Ro + Co.

And we are calling the house Little Lake Haven, so there you go, Ro + Co Little Lake Haven.

The house itself has been a ton of hard work and so has been building Ro + Co.

It is really amazing to me how much we have transformed this small space

but more so how quickly Ro + Co has grown in just a few short months.

Ro + Co is so much more than a space to write about our renovation journey. It’s a place to share our personal brand, and our lifestyle through sharing real experiences, creative content, design inspiration, and décor.
